What is going on with the air energy motor not turning
 Oct 28, 2024|View:271

The reasons why the air energy motor does not rotate may include circuit problems, internal faults of the unit, voltage problems, faults of the electronic control board, faults of the motor, etc.

Circuit Problems: It may be that the power cord is loose or not energized properly. Check whether the power cord is securely connected, and use a multimeter to detect whether the power supply is powered on normally.

Internal unit faults: including whether the refrigerant is sufficient, whether the filter is clogged, and whether the compressor and other internal components are working properly. The amount of refrigerant is appropriate and that there are no clogged or damaged parts inside the system.

Voltage problem: Make sure that the voltage meets the requirements of the unit. For 220V models, the compressor may not start if the voltage is too low.

Faulty ECB: Faulty transformer or controller failure of ECB may cause the unit to fail to receive the start signal. You need to check whether the electronic control board is working properly.

Motor failure: Long-term use may cause the motor to be damaged, worn, or disconnected, and need to be replaced or repaired.

In addition to the above common causes, there are other possible reasons such as short circuit in the circuit, defrost function activation, poor insulation of the water system, etc., which can also cause the motor not to rotate. It is recommended to contact a professional for maintenance when encountering problems to accurately judge and solve the problem.
